Set within an Airbnb "dwelling," this exhibition brings to light the essence, memories, and vital presences that reside deep within spaces, often unnoticed in our daily lives, through the act of drawing (lines and video).
Through a diverse collection of works—including sketches of a political party headquarters, pieces exploring the concepts of "box and giant," works examining inside and outside, and video drawings of washing machine drainage—Kitagawa vividly portrays the hidden contexts and energies latent in everyday spaces. This exhibition offers a unique opportunity for viewers to engage with the artworks, allowing their own perception to become a new "dwelling" place, thus transforming their perspective on the ordinary world.
